Prophetic encouragement is simply a process of listening to God and responding to others with what he asks of us. That is the essence of worship. As a part of our walk of worship we open ourselves up for God to use – as a living and holy sacrifice (Romans 12:1). We allow him to interrupt our daily routine for purposes that he might want – to use us to encourage others.
